JCSU Students Attended and Presented Research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Oak Ridge, TN

Dr. Brown – Fox traveled with students to Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Oak Ridge, TN; October 4 – 6, 2023. They attended the 2023 Collaboration Workshop representing JCSU and networking with Oak Ridge scientists. ORNL was very excited that they came because this was the first time JCSU had ever attended one of these workshops. Home of the Manhattan Project and the world's fastest supercomputer, FRONTIER, ORNL wants to partner with HBCUs like JCSU and MSIs to provide enriching research opportunities to students that will lead to careers either at this laboratory or other national laboratories across the country or just use these research experiences to help them achieve other career placements.
