Zoe Migioni

Biology Major

My name is Zoe Migioni, a sophomore are Johnson C. Smith University majoring in Biology with minors in Bioinformatics and Chemistry. I am an international student from Harare, Zimbabwe. On-campus I am a member of a few clubs and organizations, with leadership positions in some. Off-campus I am a member of the New Seasons Youth Program as well as a mentee with the PrIMES Foundation and the MV3 Foundation among other things. I joined the M-Pure program because of my interest in doing research as a way to help me put my science into active practice, especially as a future healthcare professional. Participating in research with Dr. Brown is an opportunity not only to learn about how polymeric composites integrated with char additives of cellulose nano-materials and how they integrate into polymeric matrices, but it is an opportunity to grow and be mentored as a scientist
